Serving as a senior scientific and operational leader within the Public Health Team, the full-time remote Bioinformatics Analyst III will independently lead complex initiatives, provide scientific oversight, and engage with partners to enhance pathogen genomics services. Key Responsibilities Lead complex projects and partner engagements, ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with partner needs Mentor junior analysts and support the development of best practices and operational efficiencies Communicate findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, fostering trusted relationships with stakeholders Required Qualifications Masters or doctoral degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, microbiology, molecular biology, or a related field 7+ years of experience in bioinformatics analysis, particularly with NGS and multi-omics data Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R Demonstrated expertise in bioinformatics tools and workflows for pathogen genomics Experience leading and managing multiple projects in a collaborative environment
